Stark & Whyte in collaboration with distributor Browne & Co, hosted JACQUES
HENRY, 5th Generation Owner & President of Emile Henry. Mr. Henry
autographed and engraved tagines for customers while Browne representative, Marie-Jose
Peltier, demonstrated recipes using Emile Henry products at the in-house kitchen.
Customers participated in a draw for a free Tagine.

Stark & Whyte hosted a cupcake decorating workshop for children
at the Dix30 retail complex for Mother’s Day 2009. The company
provided 650 cupcakes which were used to teach decorating and icing techniques
to children. It was day of fun and learning, culminating in great
cupcake gifts for Mom!
The Marie-Eve-Saulnier Foundation is proud of the
great success of it's very first dinner benefit. This touching red carpet
event was held at the Jacques-Rousseau high school of Longueuil on November
6th, 2008. The gastronomic dinner gathered more than 275 participants
which included more than 30 renowned artists gathered by Isabel Richer,
godmother of the foundation. The event generated 30,000$ plus a surprise
donation of 5,000$ from M. Alain Quintal, the honoured Chairman and President
of prestige Buro design. An additional 5,000$ was raised which was the
result of many sponsors, in particular Stark & Whyte's
greatly appreciated participation in the evening. All of this brings the grand
total to an incredible 40,000$. The Marie-Eve Saulnier Foundation sees the
result of this event as an opportunity not only to fulfill its first goal,
which is helping needy families to cope with a child suffering from cancer,
but also to enlarge its capacity of helping even more families.
09/22/08 Stark & Whyte hosts WMF
evening
An
action-packed fun evening took place at STARK & WHYTE's Brossard
location. The store hosted Daniel Mercier, Chief Representative for Business
Development for WMF, Portmeiron and Royal Selangor and Katja Strobele,
Regional Export Manager of WMF, Germany. A group of Quebec retailers
also attended and participated in the WMF product demonstration.
With Daniel and Katja taking the helm at the
S&W kitchen, a demonstration
of WMF's Pressure Cooker resulted in a delicious Risotto, followed by
Daniel Mercier's demonstration of WMF kitchen tools products.
The evening was also attended by STARK & WHYTE's Founder Philip Stark,
as well as STARK & WHYTE'S store management and team members. The evening
reinforces STARK & WHYTE's commitment to the WMF brand.
